Every visual decision Jacks makes is in conversation with the words. Every word Jess writes is in conversation with the design. This exchange drives everything we do, and it's a part of the work we love. Together we are Indra Creative.

How it began
We met through a mutual friend who needed a website for her property in the Aegean and between us we had what she needed. Jacks built and designed it. Jess wrote the words. It worked. People started asking. Fifteen years later, many of our clients still come to us the same way. Someone they trust tells them about us. That has never felt like a small thing. We were both freelancing in our respective fields when we met, with already solid professional practices that happened to fit together perfectly. That connection is still at the heart of how we work.
Our collaboration has taught us that a website is a beginning, not a destination. We're still growing, and so are most of the clients we've worked with longest. That feels right to us. We're as curious and excited as we've ever been about the projects and people still to come.
Why we do this
Our mission is to understand who you are deeply enough to reflect it back in a way you're proud to show the world. That takes conversation before it takes design, and excavation before it takes form. We listen carefully and draw out what is truest and most distinctive about you and your work. Then we build something that holds all of that clearly. A brand and a website that work as hard as you do and grow with you and your business.
Meet Jess
Copywriter, Editor, Storyteller
I tend to ask the questions other people are thinking but haven't quite said out loud. It is something I have always done, in work and in life, and it turns out people are usually glad when someone does. I am a writer and editor with a degree in English Language & Literature, endlessly curious about language and equally curious about people.
For twenty-five years I have written for businesses and individuals, from trade and service industries to creative and artistic practice, across formats and purposes as varied as the people behind them. Those years have taught me to trust my intuition about where the most interesting perspective is, and to go looking for it. I am direct, I listen carefully, and I find something close to magic in the moment when the right words find the right form.
Meet Jacks
Designer, Developer, Creator
I trained as a designer in Sydney, worked in studios there and in London, and came to see that design and the person behind it are never separate. You cannot get one right without truly understanding the other. This awareness now shapes everything I do.
I am precise by nature and collaborative by instinct. I notice the details that quietly make the difference between something that looks right and something that feels right. I love the way a website evolves through the process, the way it gradually becomes a genuine extension of who someone is.
The moment I work for is when a client sees their finished website and something shifts. Their shoulders go back. Their head goes up. They are proud, properly proud, to share what we've crafted together.
